Hyannis, MA (July 26, 2012)– Richard Sweeney, co-founder of the Keurig coffee brewing system will deliver the keynote address at the three-day Massachusetts Chamber of Commerce Annual Business Summit on September 9- 11 at the Resort and Conference Center at Hyannis.

Sweeney will tell the Keurig story which dates back to the early 1990’s. The Massachusetts based company became successful only after years of trial and error and convincing the world that a single cup brewing system was a good idea. Sweeney joined the company full time as one of its first employees in 1996. Today, he is responsible for Manufacturing, Quality Control, and Field Service. Sweeney brought to Keurig more than 25 years of experience in manufacturing, product development and consulting for industrial and consumer appliances. Keurig company headquarters are located in Wakefield, MA.

While Sweeney will deliver the keynote address at the Monday, September 10 session, Jordan Goodman, “The Money Answers Guy” will address the Chamber Summit on Tuesday the 11th. Goodman is the author of several books on finance, runs the website www.moneyanswers.com and appears as a commentator on television news networks. In addition, he makes frequent trips around the country to address such diverse audiences as the military, corporate employees, college students and trade association members.

The Massachusetts Chamber of Commerce Annual Business Summit is a three-day gathering of business professionals from across the state, as well as, state and local elected officials and representatives from the Massachusetts Office of Economic Development.
